(Secondary – Stream)
A four years full-time (or part time equivalent) Undergraduate Degree with 32 subjects
The Bachelor of Education (Secondary – Stream) at the Australian College of Christian Studies opens the door to a vocation where you can inspire young people and help shape their future through education.
In the Secondary Stream, you will study the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) and the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) content while specialising in two teaching areas. Options include English, Ancient History, Modern History, Mathematics, Science, Studies of Religion, Commerce/Business Studies, and Music—all taught from a Christian perspective.
Across your degree, you will complete 80 days of Professional Experience in schools, including an internship. These placements give you the chance to step into real classrooms, put your learning into practice, and grow in confidence as a teacher. By graduation, you will be well prepared to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students and their communities.
